Swerec AB is since 1992 located in Lanna, Värnamo. The company
started its current operations in 1986. The number of employees is
around 70.
Swerec AB with subsidiaries stands for a responsible and
environmentally friendly handling of sorted materials. Our
activities include sorting and recycling of plastic materials and
trading with these products.
We process materials from both households and from industries.
Depending on the type of materials we offer our customers and
partners a wide range of services including collection, sorting,
washing, separating, milling and granulation.
Swerecs subsidiary in Denmark, Danrec A/S, manufactures plastic
sheets from recycled HDPE and LDPE, DAN-Board. The plates are used
for example in animal housing, floor coverings as well as driving

We have a partnership in a Dutch plastics company, Fry-Rec BV,
which produces pellets of recycled polypropylene. The pellets are
delivered primarily to manufacturers of plastic
products in the Netherlands but also to the Swedish plastics
industry. The raw material for the pellets derives from the plastic
we receive from scandinavian households, for
example ketchup and shampoo bottles, glass boxes, caps and
more.
